Abbott CSR Campaign
Over three years, Stephen worked with the agency Agenda to develop a series of corporate social responsibility films for Abbott Laboratories and its foundation, the Abbott Fund. He transformed their CSR reporting from a small, printed document into a cohesive web and video campaign with heartfelt, character-driven stories dramatizing the impact of their work. Stephen created over 20 documentary and marketing films shot in the States, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Tanzania, and India. The campaign involved:
• Simplifying and enhancing strategic messaging into compelling character-driven CSR storylines and scripts.
• Organizing logistics across the globe.
• Directing camera and crew and interviewing all subjects.
• Supervising post-production.
Elevating Emergency Care In Tanzania
The global healthcare company Abbott and its foundation the Abbott fund partnered with the government of Tanzania to build Tanzania’s first emergency room and a residency program to train doctors in emergency medicine. This first short documentary dramatizes the impact of this partnership with the story of a toddler brought to the emergency room hyperglycemic and close to death. The second here is about a family man who was rushed to the emergency room after being shot.

Child Nutrition In Haiti
Children in Haiti were dying of malnutrition. Abbott, a nutrition manufacturer, worked with Partners in Health to build a new manufacturing facility to increase the production of Nourimamba, a malnutrition treatment made from peanuts. This partnership helped farmers expand peanut crop production to supply the facility, empowering the people of Haiti to address malnutrition and drive sustainable economic development.
